My first ever market was in Penllergaer. After that it was fits and starts and I nearly gave up the idea as it needed a lot of commitment and looking after a young family was more important.

It was a couple of years down the road when at a concert a gentleman approached me and said, “We miss your lovely food, will you be back?” This sentence changed my perspective and I knew my food was putting a smile on someone’s face.

I then restarted and thank God haven’t looked back since. I have a devoted customer base who come flocking on market days and am proud to say that my food is their Sunday dinner.

It delights me as my food becomes the basis of good quality time.
